TCU Vs. Grambling State Final Score: Horned Frogs Nearly Perfect In 56-0 Victory

The No. 20 TCU Horned Frogs were nearly perfect on Saturday night, beating Grambling State 56-0 thanks to nearly 300 yards on the ground and a mistake-free game by both TCU quarterbacks.

TCU outgained Grambling State 527-76 in the game, averaging nearly ten yards per play on their way to a 42-0 lead at the half and a 56-0 lead by the end of the third quarter. Grambling State managed just five first downs in the game and were completely dominated by the TCU defense, punting 11 times in the game managing just five completions total.

Quarterbacks Casey Pachall and Trevone Boykin combined for a perfect game on Saturday night, with neither throwing an incompletion and putting up 274 yards through the air in the game. The Frogs rushed by committee as well, with B.J. Catalon leading the team with five rushes for 69 yards and a touchdown.

Six different rushers combined for 253 yards on the ground in the game for TCU.

Box Score Hero: Pachall and Boykin combined to go 17-of-17 for 274 yards and four touchdowns.

Rankings Ramifications: No. 20 TCU likely won’t see much of a boost after blasting a team they were expected to dominate although the complete decimation of Grambling State certainly won’t hurt.

But Did They Cover? The Frogs easily covered the 50-point spread.
