The main pro day schedule is going to be wrapping up soon, with only a handful of schools left on the schedule. Fortunately, some of the best schools have yet to hold their pro days, including Notre Dame, LSU and others. On Monday, four more schools will hold their pro days.
NFL pro days 2013: Duke, Iowa highlight March 25
Iowa and Duke will host their pro days on March 25, with players like Sean Renfree and Conner Vernon
Those schools are Duke, Iowa, Middle Tennessee State and Stephen F. Austin. The latter two schools aren’t featuring too many prospects that stand a chance at being drafted, but there are some players of note from both Duke and Iowa.
Duke quarterback Sean Renfree hopes to be drafted come April, and in a weak quarterback class this year, he could definitely boost his stock. He's still considered a late-round pick, but a good pro day could be the difference between being drafted and going undrafted for someone like him.
His teammate, wide reciever Conner Vernon, hopes to go a bit higher. Most have him going around the fifth round, and a strong pro day could solidify those hopes.
Draft hopefuls from Iowa include wide receiver Keenan Davis, safety Micah Hyde and interior offensive lineman James Ferentz. Most of the players on display today are considered possible late-round selections at best, but a strong pro day could change that for any one of these guys.
