2013 NFL Draft: Terron Armstead continues to turn heads with solid pro day
The Arkansas-Pine Bluff offensive tackles has been impressive in the pre-draft process.
Armstead did not disappoint, according to Gil Brandt, who said that Armstead looked outstanding in positional drills during Monday’s workout. Armstead chose not to run through the other workouts, instead sitting on the outstanding numbers he put up in Indianapolis.
San Diego Chargers offensive line coach Joe D’Alessandris put Armstead through the workout, and Brandt said that the athletic offensive lineman has scheduled meetings for private workouts, including one with the Dallas Cowboys.
Armstead is one of many talented day-two prospects at the offensive tackle position in this year's class. While Texas A&M's Luke Joeckel, Central Michigan's Eric Fisher and Oklahoma's Lane Johnson have established themselves as the top tier of offensive tackles, any number of prospects could make a case to be that No. 4 guy.
Armstead is making as strong of a case as anyone thus far in the pre-draft process.
