AFC Championship 2013, Ravens vs. Patriots: Tom Brady could break even more records

Tom Brady can set three more postseason records this weekend, when the New England Patriots host the Baltimore Ravens for the AFC Championship game.

Tom Brady is no stranger to setting NFL records.

Last week, Brady earned his 17th career playoff win, breaking Joe Montana's all-time postseason wins record, after the New England Patriots defeated the Houston Texans in the Divisional Round.

Brady needs just 227 passing yards to surpass Brett Favre (5,855) for the most postseason passing yards in NFL history. Brady's 5,629 trails only Peyton Manning (5,679), Montana (5,772) and Favre.

In New England’s Week 3 loss to Baltimore, Brady completed 28-of-41 passes for 335 yards. A repeat performance would once again etch Brady’s name into the record books -- though Brady will undoubtedly hope 335 yards comes with a win this time.

Brady can tie or pass another Montana record this weekend as well. If Brady throws four touchdown passes on Sunday, he'll tie Montana's all-time postseason record for touchdown passes with 45. Five touchdown passes against the Ravens would give Brady the all-time record -- and likely a trip to New Orleans for Super Bowl XLVII.

Further, Brady can break a tie with John Elway for most Super Bowl starts by a quarterback if the Patriots win. Both Elway and Brady have appeared in five Super Bowls, with Brady winning three, and Elway winning two.
