Matchup: Houston Texans vs. Jacksonville Jaguars.
NFL Picks, Week 10: Houston Texans Vs. Jacksonville Jaguars
Breakdown: There's no doubt what the Jaguars want to do in this game: run the ball. A lot. Their pass offense isn't very good by any means -- they're 29th in the NFL in pass attempts -- so they're going to stick to the ground game. The Texans meanwhile can do a little bit of everything. RB Arian Foster is very, very good and having a terrific season while the passing offense is still a force to be reckoned with. The Jaguars have their hands full even as the favorites. This game features two 4-4 AFC South teams so there are divisional implications.
Player to Watch: RB Maurice Jones-Drew. I think the Texans are a better team but if the Jaguars want to hang around in this one they need to be able to run MJD a lot and he needs to be effective.
Line: Jaguars are one point favorites.
Prediction: I’m surprised the Jaguars are favored in this game but I’m going with the Texans by a touchdown.
