Sunday's game between the Detroit Lions and Buffalo Bills won't be televised in Buffalo but that's not too surprising considering the Bills 0-8 record to start the season. This represents Buffalo's best chance to win according to the NFL odds. The Bills are 2.5-3 point favorites to win at this point.
NFL Picks, Week 10: Detroit Lions Vs. Buffalo Bills
The Lions offense enters the game without QB Matthew Stafford who is suffering from another shoulder injury. Their offense is based on passing the ball -- and why not with Calvin Johnson? -- and they'll need to do just that to beat the Bills. Buffalo's defense isn't anything to write home about so you can bet this game will be somewhat high-scoring.
The Bills offense is surprisingly good with QB Ryan Fitzpatrick. Well, they're good considering the expectations against heading into the season. Fitzpatrick took over midseason and hasn't looked back since. He's working well with Chan Gailey and he's someone that teams have to watch out for. The Bills also tote a pair of good running backs in Fred Jackson and C.J. Spiller. The Lions defense is 22nd against the pass and 27th against the run so, like Detroit's offense, Buffalo's offense should be putting up some points.
I’m going to roll with the Bills in this one as they’ll finally get their first win of the season. They’ve been playing teams tight the last three weeks and that will continue as they beat the Lions by a field goal.
