In today’s annual Manning Vs. Brady Bowl, we witnessed a second half that was nothing short of spectacular.
NFL Week 11 Scores And Results: Patriots Survive Late Surge From Colts, Hold On To Win, 31-28
The Patriots lead throughout this game, and for a good chunk of it did so in commanding fashion. Still, the fourth quarter had a playoff feel, as QB Peyton Manning finally got into a rhythm and gave us a dramatic finish in Gillette Stadium.
Manning put up huge numbers, completing 38 of 52 passes for 396 yards and four touchdowns. The difference, though, was three interceptions, including a terrible one to S James Sanders with under a minute remaining in the game, and the Colts driving and in field goal range.
Patriots QB Tom Brady was mediocre, and completed 19 of 25 passes for 186 yards and two touchdowns.
WR Reggie Wayne caught eight balls for 107 yards and one touchdown. For the Patriots, WR Deion Branch lead the way with seven catches for 70 yards.
