After missing the first four games of the NFL season because of suspension, Roethlisberger came into week 11 having thrown the ball 158 times for 99 completions, 1304 yards, 9 touchdowns and 4 interceptions. Today Roethlisberger threw for 275 yards on 18/29 passing and had 3 touchdown passes. Along with his air assault, Roethlisberger was a power on the ground, rushing 3 times for 55 yards and a touchdown.

Pittsburgh found itself down three in the second quarter after the Raiders defense held the Steelers offense scoreless. The Steelers proceeded to score 21 points in the second quarter and finished off the game with 14 in the fourth quarter.
