For the second week in a row, the Jacksonville Jaguars pulled off an unlikely last-minute win. Down by three on their own 24, the Jags turned to RB Maurice Jones-Drew, who took a screen 75 yards to the Cleveland Browns goal line, then punched it in two plays later. Last week the Jags won on a Hail Mary, meaning we’ll get to enjoy quite a few Cardiac Cats! headlines by tomorrow morning.
NFL Week 11 Scores And Results: Jaguars Come Back Late To Beat Browns, 24-20
Browns QB Colt McCoy drove Cleveland into Jacksonville territory in the final minute, but threw a pick to safety Sean Considine to seal it up. McCoy played well otherwise, passing for 249 and a score and running for another 39. Browns RB Peyton Hillis was bottled up on the ground and still had another monster game, gaining 143 total.
MJD finished with 219 total yards, helping to overcome QB David Garrard’s three interceptions and lost fumble.
Next the 3-7 Browns get the Carolina Panthers, while the 6-4 Jags travel to the New York Giants.
