The New England Patriots seem to occasionally play games with the NFL's injury report so that's why the news that Tom Brady is listed as questionable for the Thanksgiving day against the Detroit Lions isn't causing much stress around New England. Everyone expects Brady to play, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Patriots Vs. Lions: Tom Brady Expected To Play Despite Foot Injury
“The truth to the matter is that everybody expects that Brady will be out there, despite the foot injury, despite the shoulder injury,” Schefter said. “He’s been on the injury report list before, he always seems to play.”
Did we really think Brady wouldn’t play? He didn’t practice this week so there was some concern but over the years we’ve learned Brady’s status isn’t affected much by whether he’s on the injury report or not. No one is quite sure what the foot injury is but it apparently doesn’t matter if he’ll play.
The 8-2 Patriots meet the 2-8 Lions at 12:30 p.m. Check out Pats Pulpit and Pride of Detroit for more on the game.
