The Detroit Lions walk away with a first quarter lead against the New England Patriots, 7-3, in the first of three Thanksgiving day NFL games.

The New England Patriots struck first with an eight-yard, 41-yard drive that resulted in a field goal giving them a 3-0 lead but the Lions came roaring back at the end of the first quarter notching a Shaun-Hill-to-Calvin-Johnson touchdown pass that gives them a 7-3 lead after one quarter.
Lions QB Shaun Hill has completed 6-of-10 passes for 46 yards and a 19-yard touchdown pass to Johnson while Patriots QB Tom Brady has completed 5-of-7 passes for 62 yards.
Defensively, the Lions’ Ndamukong Suh has already notched a sack, his eighth of the year.
The Lions lead the Patriots early in the second quarter, 7-3.
