Randy Moss Waiver Wire Watch: Titans Reportedly Put In Claim; Others Interested

Don Banks of SI.com has the latest surrounding Randy Moss and where he might end up next. He reports that the Titans have put in a claim on Moss. They're No. 22 on the waiver wire so 21 other teams would have to pass on him. The move makes sense with Kenny Britt going down with a hamstring injury.

Rams head coach Steve Spagnuolo said on Wednesday afternoon that his team has yet to make a decision on Moss. They're doing their homework on him and Banks reports the concern lies around how Moss would fit into the Rams locker room.

Teams not issuing a claim include the Falcons, Ravens, Jets and Seahawks, according to Banks. All those teams were rumored at one point to be interested.

Banks predicts about four teams will ultimately place a claim on him: Rams, Dolphins, Saints and Titans. If those four teams are the only ones to issue a claim, he would be awarded to the Rams based on waiver wire priority. He also says to watch out for the Chargers as a surprise team making a claim. They are three spots ahead of the Rams on the waiver wire.

The waiver wire deadline comes at 4:00 p.m. so we'll know soon enough where Moss is headed -- or where he's not headed.
