Titans Release Statements On Acquisition Of Randy Moss

The Tennessee Titans acquired receiver Randy Moss off the waiver wire despite being 22nd in the order of teams who could have claimed Moss. Not that it mattered, as Tennessee was the only team to place a claim on the Pro Bowler.

The Titans, even if they didn’t improve their offense as planned, certainly added a high-profile offensive weapon to their roster and so some of their officials were compelled to address the media after the transaction was made official.

From general manager Mike Reinfeldt:

“We are always looking for ways to improve our roster. Randy is obviously a Hall of Fame player and has the ability to be a difference maker for our offense.”

From head coach Jeff Fisher:

“We had an opportunity to upgrade our offense and Randy has been a tremendous threat wherever he has been. We will bring him up to speed as quickly as possible.”
