Randy Moss Claimed By Tennessee Titans Off Waiver Wire

The Tennessee Titans claimed WR Randy Moss off the waiver wire on Wednesday, according to Jim Wyatt of The Tennessean. Moss was waived by the Minnesota Vikings on Tuesday leading to his placement on the NFL's waiver wire. The deadline to claim him was 4:00 p.m. Wednesday.

The Titans had the 22nd position on the waiver wire, which is based on record from worst to best. This means that 21 teams ahead of the Titans passed on Moss. It’s not yet known if anyone after the Titans placed a claim.

A report surfaced on Wednesday indicating that Moss wouldn’t necessarily report to the team that claimed him. In fact, he’d reportedly be willing to sit out the season if he didn’t like the team that claimed him. Fortunately for the Titans, there are already reports coming out that he will report to the team.

This wraps up quite the month for Randy Moss. In the first week of October, he was being traded from the Patriots to the Vikings. On the last day of October he was on a podium telling reporters that he loved and missed his former teammates and coaches in New England. The following day he was shockingly waived by the Vikings and now he's a Titan.
