The Tennessee Titans dropped their sixth consecutive game on Thursday Night Football against the Indianapolis Colts, 30-28. After starting 5-2 and dreaming of winning the AFC South, the Titans are no longer in the playoff discussion. This wasn't the result many people thought was coming after the team acquired Randy Moss earlier in the year.
Colts Vs. Titans: Why Not Randy Moss And Kenny Britt Together?
At the time, Kenny Britt was down with an injury but folks expected the Titans to have a dangerous receiving core once he returned. Well, that hasn't happened. Britt has four receptions on Thursday night and Moss had none. SB Nation's Music City Miracles wants to know what's going on.
Can someone please explain to me why this coaching staff couldn't figure out a way to get Randy Moss and Kenny Britt on the field at the same time? Don't give me the crap excuse that they play the same position because it doesn't take a genius to figure out that having Moss on the field over Nate Washington and Justin Gage is a huge upgrade. Seems to me that it would make sense to have the best players on the field all of the time, but then again I am not an NFL coach.
This isn’t anything new with Moss. When his team is in the tank, he tanks. It’s as simple as that. We’ve seen it often over the years so this should have been expected.
