Monday Night Football, Ravens Vs. Texans: Let It Fly, Joe Flacco

The Baltimore Ravens are in the thick of things in the AFC playoff race as they enter their second consecutive primetime, this time on Monday Night Football against the Houston Texans. The Ravens are 8-4 and a win would solidify themselves in the AFC playoff race.

SB Nation’s Baltimore Beatdown has a nice capsule of what to expect from the Ravens:

Expect Offensive Coordinator to do his best to put on a show and release the reins on Flacco to go airborne, and to get Ray Rice the ball on the ground and in the flats on swing passes to test the Texans defense. Defensively, look for Terrell Suggs to continue what is looking to be the best season of his career. Don't forget about Ray Lewis in the middle making the calls and plays that continue to amaze others who are still seeing what us Ravens fans have come to expect as a weekly occurrence from #52.

The Ravens defense has been doing what they do as the third best scoring defense in the NFL. We know what we're getting with that group. The offense has been struggling in recent weeks scoring just 10 and 17 points in the last two weeks. If the Ravens are going to roll in this game, Joe Flacco and Co. need to come out firing.

Check out Baltimore Beatdown for more on the game.
