Monday Night Football, Ravens Vs. Texans: Predicting A Houston Loss

The Baltimore Ravens travel to Houston to face the Texans on Monday Night Football and the early predictions favor of the Ravens. NFL odds say the Ravens are a three point favorite and both SB Nation's Ravens and Texans blog have picked Baltimore to win.

Here’s what Baltimore Beatdown has to say:

The Ravens should dismantle the Texans and while their offense is too good to shut down, they should be able to outscore them and wear them down in the latter stages of the game to a point that a last minute comeback is out of the question. A win will keep them firmly in the hunt of the playoff race and within striking distance of the AFC North division leading Steelers.

They go on to predict a 34-17 Ravens victory. And Battle Red Blog agrees, though predicting a closer game:

Like the Philly game, tonight’s tilt is one that I immediately pegged as a loss when the schedule came out. Baltimore has never lost to the Texans, with the most recent matchup being a 41-13 thrashing two years ago. I don’t see the Texans getting off the schneid tonight. Ravens 31, Texans 20.

We’ll have updates of the game here.
