Monday Night Football, Ravens Vs. Texans: 99-Yard TD Drive Brings Texans To Within Eight

We have a ballgame on Monday Night Football.

Trailing 28-7 after the first play of the third quarter, the Houston Texans have scored 13 consecutive points on the Baltimore Ravens, cutting the lead to 28-20 with six minutes remaining in the fourth quarter at Reliant Stadium.

On a drive that started from their own one-yard line, Matt Schaub made several key plays in driving the Texans 99 yards for their second touchdown of the game. Owen Daniels caught a 23-yard pass on the first play of the drive, and Schaub found Andre Johnson for a 13-yard gain on 4th and 2 to keep the drive alive. He also got a 10-yard completion out of David Anderson, and then on 4th and 5 from Baltimore’s seven-yard line, he found Jacoby Jones for the touchdown.

Arian Foster was also key on the drive, picking up 26 yards on two separate draw plays to move the chains.

The Ravens have gained just 28 yards offensively in the second half, and with six minutes left in the game, they’ll need to make a few plays to prevent the plucky Texans from making a complete comeback.
