The Indianapolis Colts will host the Dallas Cowboys in Week 13 and NFL odds say Indy will take home the victory. The 6-5 Colts are 5.5 point favorites against the 3-8 Cowboys. The records of each team indicates an Indy victory but the Cowboys have been a different team lately winning two of their last three including a loss against the Saints that went down to the wire.
NFL Picks, Week 13: Dallas Cowboys Vs. Indianapolis Colts
The Colts need this game more than the Cowboys do so I’m inclined to think Indy will win it but don’t underestimate the Cowboys as spoilers. They’ve had a meltdown of a season but this is still a very talented team. After their offense struggled early in the year, they’ve put up 33, 35 and 27 points so the Colts will need to score more than a few points to walk away with this one.
We're still trying to figure out which Colts this team is. Until last week, they hadn't lost five games in the regular season in seven years and now they've lost three of their last four. QB Peyton Manning looked miserable against the San Diego Chargers last week so you can bet the Cowboys are studying that game tape. The Colts path to victory still goes through Manning so if he's playing well, they'll win.
But will he play well? I’m inclined to think he will considering the Cowboys pass defense in their last three games has been vulnerable at times. The line on this game is 5.5 points but with the way the Cowboys are playing I’m thinking it will be closer than that. I’ll go with the Colts over the Cowboys by a field goal.
