Robert Kraft has owned the New England Patriots for 17 years and has never seen a regular season game as big as this one. The Patriots will host the New York Jets on Monday Night Football. Both teams are 9-2 and the winner is expected to win the division and eventually lock up the No. 1 seed in the AFC.
Monday Night Football, Jets Vs. Patriots: Robert Kraft Says ‘Biggest Regular Season Game’ In Tenure
But just how big is this game? Kraft says it’s the biggest, per ESPN Boston.
“We had a family gathering last night for the holiday and we were chatting among ourselves and I said to Jonathan [Kraft], ‘In the 17 years we’ve owned the team, this is the biggest regular-season game in our history,’” Kraft said.
It's hard to argue. You've got two of the biggest media markets, arguably the best quarterback of our generation (Tom Brady), arguably the best head coach of our generation (Bill Belichick) and a head coach (Rex Ryan) with the most personality we've seen in years.
And it’s all on Monday Night Football for the world to see.
