Jets Vs. Patriots: Mark Sanchez’ Trash Is Tom Brady’s Treasure
The Jets’ second drive of the second half ended when Mark Sanchez was intercepted, which led to a Tom Brady touchdown pass.
If you’re a Jets fans, this pattern is probably going to get boring after a while.
Devin McCourty stole Mark Sanchez’ pass at the New England 45-yard-line just a few plays into their drive. From there, Tom Brady once again did what Tom Brady does when Tom Brady wants to. He led the Patriots down the field quickly and efficiently, capping the short drive with a 1-yard touchdown pass to Aaron Hernandez, making it 38-3 with 14:52 to go in the game.
This one is over. Now it’s just a matter of whether or not the Jets can hold on to the ball long enough to make it respectable. Because it’s clear the Patriots aren’t going to stop scoring anytime soon.
