Rex Ryan is among the most personable coaches in the NFL and his press conferences have turned into must see TV. Likewise his team has team turned into must watch TV entering Monday Night Football with a 9-2 record and a chance to move into first place in the AFC East.
Jets Vs. Patriots: Fans Do Not Approve Of Rex Ryan After Blowout Loss
Until they were thoroughly embarrassed, 45-3, at the hands of the Patriots. Mark Sanchez says he'd have to go back to Pop Warner to find a loss like this. Ryan said it was the biggest of his career.
“It’s the biggest butt-whuppin’ I’ve ever taken as a coach in my career,” Ryan said. “Clearly, we got our butts kicked. We got outcoached and outplayed.”
And Jets fans are showing their displeasure with the performance. SB Nation's Gang Green Nation runs an approval poll every week of the job Ryan is doing as head coach of the Jets. The previous three weeks 95, 92 and 90 percent approval.
This week? 38 percent. Clearly Jets fans can’t be pleased with that.
