Bills Tried To Trade Trent Edwards Before Releasing Him

After opening the 2010 season as the starter, the Bills released Trent Edwards making him a free agent.

However, the Bills released him only after trying to trade him, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Edwards is a 2007 third round pick and had what SB Nation’s Buffalo Rumblings called an “abysmal” start to the 2010 season.

In those two games, Edwards guided Buffalo’s offense to just 17 points and threw for just 241 yards while getting sacked seven times. Buffalo lost those games by a combined score of 49-17.

I can see why his trade value would be non-existent with numbers like that.

Check out Buffalo Rumblings to see what they’re saying after the Trent Edwards release.
