The St. Louis Rams turned a fumble by Seattle Seahawks RB Marshawn Lynch into a quick three points, which could be a big deal in a low-scoring game with (somewhat) huge NFL playoff implications. The Rams only mustered a 12-yard drive, but that was enough to put kicker Josh Brown in position for an easy 27-yard field goal, his second of the night.
Rams Vs. Seahawks: St. Louis Scores Quick After Half, 7-6 Seattle
Lynch’s fumble was the first turnover of the night. He hasn’t been what you’d call the most effective player on the field, running six times for -1 yard along with one reception for -7. Good thing fantasy football is over, and no wonder the Seahawks wound up last in the NFL in rushing yardage.
Injured left tackle Russell Okung is back on the field after missing some time late in the first half with an ankle injury suffered after stepping on QB Charlie Whitehurst’s foot.
