NFL Playoffs, Ravens Vs. Chiefs: Kansas City Gets Goal Line Stand, Baltimore Leads 3-0

The Ravens marched down the field with a passing attack that the Chiefs couldn’t seem to stop. But when they got to the threshold of the end zone, Kansas City wouldn’t let them in.

The Chiefs staged a goal line stand after the Ravens had goal to go from the Kansas City 1, and held Baltimore to just three points on a Billy Cundiff field goal after an impressive opening drive.

A fumbled snap by Joe Flacco, a run for nothing by Willis McGahee, and a superb pass breakup by rookie Eric Berry all helped stop the Ravens from getting their final yard.

Flacco was efficient through the air on the the opening drive, completing five of his nine passes for 69 yards. That’s where all of the Ravens’ yards came from: four carries on the drive combined to net zero yards.

The Chiefs will now have a chance to take the lead on their first drive.
