NFL Playoffs, Ravens Vs. Chiefs: Jamaal Charles Runs 41 Yards For Touchdown

The Kansas City Chiefs have taken the early lead against the Baltimore Ravens thanks to a big 41-yard touchdown run from running back Jamaal Charles. Kansas City now leads 10-3 late in the first quarter.

The touchdown run came on just the second play of the Chiefs drive, which started on a short field thanks to a turnover forced by the Chiefs’ defense. Joe Flacco dropped back to pass, but was stripped of the ball. He appeared to recover it temporarily, but Kansas City ultimately came out of the pile with the ball.

The first play of the drive was a botched flea-flicker attempt, after which Charles blew past the Ravens’ defense for the score. Both Ray Lewis and Ed Reed appeared to have a shot at Charles, but neither could bring down the speedy running back.
