Chicago Bears star defensive end Julius Peppers was injured a few series prior to the Detroit Lions scoring drive, prior to the Calvin Johnson touchdown reception. Peppers went down in pain with a knee injury and left the field. According the ESPN Monday Night Football sideline reporter Suzy Kolber, Peppers was garnering a lot of attention from the trainers while on the trainer table.

A few moments later, Julius Peppers was making his way back to the locker room and it was noted that his return to the game was questionable. If Peppers can't come back, it will be a huge blow to the Chicago Bears defense. They'll need to get pressure on Matt Stafford and if they don't, more things like Calvin Johnson's long touchdown will happen. Again and again.
