Bears False Starts Getting Ridiculous

Does Jay Cutler ever take his offensive line out to dinner? They seem to hate him.

The Bears have been flagged for nine (!) false starts on Monday Night Football. And when Cutler has been able to hike the ball, he's been sacked three times.

Is it just too noisy in Detroit? Hit the jump and you can see for yourself.

The offensive line has been struggling all game. Here’s video of the latest false start:

Cutler has been sacked 15 times this season, tied for third-most in the NFL with Ben Roethlisberger. Given the lack of protection, it's impressive he's been able to complete 22 of his 29 pass attempts for 180 yards and a touchdown.

Visit our Bears vs. Lions Monday Night Football StoryStream for video highlights from the game. Cutler has been able to make some nice throws when given time in the pocket.
