Andre Johnson Injury: Texans WR Could Be Out ‘Six Weeks At The Most’

The Houston Texans are 0-2 since receiver Andre Johnson went down with a hamstring injury in Week 4. While he says he is ahead of schedule in terms of rehab, he might still be out for another six weeks depending on how soon he recovers.

“I’m headed in the right direction,” Johnson said. “I just want it to heal faster. Right now it’s still weak; it’s not as strong as it use to be.”

“They say it could take up to six weeks at the most,” Johnson said. “But I don’t think it will take me that long.”

Suffice to say, it’s unlikely he’ll play in Sunday’s game against the Tennessee Titans.

Johnson is said to be ahead of schedule in term of rehab and has been running this week as he gets his hamstring back into playing shape.
