Steelers Vs. Cardinals: Pittsburgh Takes Care Of Arizona, 32-20

Mike Wallace continues to prove he is one of the best fantasy weapons at wide receiver. His numbers were “inflated” to some extent thanks to 95-yard touchdown reception in the second quarter. Nonetheless, he is becoming more and more accustomed to the big play, which means a big TD reception is really not all that shocking.

On the other side of the coin, Antonio Brown did not have a big play, but rather he put together an effective and efficient fantasy performance. He caught seven passes for 102 yards with no reception being longer than 20 yards. Even though he did not get into the end zone, that is a very productive day.

Wallace has emerged as one of the NFL’s preeminent deep threats in the 2011 NFL season, and he’s been potent in the Pittsburgh passing game all year. Wallace had 612 yards and four touchdowns entering Week 7, and hadn’t had a game with under 76 receiving yards on the season; combine that with his potential to top 100 yards, as he did in the first three weeks of the season, and you have one of the best fantasy options at wide receiver in the league.

Miller was ranked by Yahoo! as the 19th ranked tight end heading into Week 6 taking on the Arizona Cardinals who rank 20th against the pass.

Roethlisberger was averaging 263 passing yards a game with 1,576 passing yards on the season and 9 touchdowns through his first six games of the 2011 NFL season. Roethlisberger’s passing yards per game is down nearly 5 yards per game from last season.

Roethlisberger was ranked by Yahoo! as the 6th ranked quarterback heading into Week 6 taking on the Arizona Cardinals who rank 20th against the pass.

Smith has been incredibly injury-prone the last few years: after appearing in all 16 games in 2008, he played in just five games the following year and six games in 2010 due to triceps and shoulder injuries. In four games this season before going down, Smith tallied eight tackles.

According to Ed Bouchette of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, Smith came into the season thinking this season might be his last, which means that he already may have played his last game. He’s started 152 games over his career, ranking 10th on the Steelers’ all-time sack list with 44.
