Andre Johnson Injury: Texans WR Has A Chance To Play Sunday

Wide receiver Andre Johnson went down with a hamstring injury in early October and the word was that he would be out for at least three weeks, and up to six weeks. The good news for the Houston Texans offense is that there's a chance he could return to action this Sunday when the Texans host the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Head coach Gary Kubiak participated in a conference call with Jacksonville media and said that Johnson is “doing really well” and he has a chance to play this weekend.

I would sit here and tell you how important Johnson is to the team and winning this game but the Texans went out and stomped the Tennessee Titans 41-7 without him. That said, Johnson might be the most important offensive player for the Texans so Houston's offense will take him back as soon as they can.

The Texans are hosting the Jags this weekend and, with or without Johnson, we expect them to win.

Check out SB Nation’s Battle Red Blog to see what Texans fans are saying about the possibility of having Johnson back.
