Andre Johnson Injury: Status For Week 8 Coming Into Focus

Houston Texans wide receiver Andre Johnson was on the practice field today, getting closer to a return from a hamstring injury. According to reports from the Texans' practice today, Johnson told the media that he was feeling better "but not where I want to be." Johnson returned to practice for the first time after missing the Texans' last three games.

As for his status this week, the Texans say it will most likely be a game-time decision. Houston hosts the Jacksonville Jaguars this week. Johnson pushed the envelope a little further in practice today, taking part in some one-on-one drills against defensive backs.

In four games this season, Johnson has 25 receptions for 352 yards and two touchdowns. Johnson suffered his hamstring injury in a week 4 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Texans are 1-2 since losing their top wide receiver.
