Houston Texans wide receiver Andre Johnson was on the practice field today, getting closer to a return from a hamstring injury. According to reports from the Texans' practice today, Johnson told the media that he was feeling better "but not where I want to be." Johnson returned to practice for the first time after missing the Texans' last three games.
Andre Johnson Injury: Status For Week 8 Coming Into Focus
As for his status this week, the Texans say it will most likely be a game-time decision. Houston hosts the Jacksonville Jaguars this week. Johnson pushed the envelope a little further in practice today, taking part in some one-on-one drills against defensive backs.
In four games this season, Johnson has 25 receptions for 352 yards and two touchdowns. Johnson suffered his hamstring injury in a week 4 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Texans are 1-2 since losing their top wide receiver.
