Andre Johnson Injury Update: MRI Expected For Fantasy Machine

Houston Texans wide receiver Andre Johnson left Sunday's victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers with what is currently being described as a pulled hamstring. After the game, Texans owner Bob McNair confirmed the pull and said that Johnson would get an MRI on Monday to determine the severity of the injury.

The Texans have just been getting over Arian Foster's hamstring injury, and now they face another one. There is nothing to indicate it is as serious as Foster's was, but hamstrings are always so tricky and easy to aggravate. I would suspect that whatever the result of the MRI, Johnson will likely sit out much of practice this week to rest the hamstring. If he is anything more than limited this week I would be pretty surprised.

For now you’ll need to wait and see what the MRI says, and then what Johnson and the team have to say over the next few days, before making any sort of lineup decision.
