VIDEO: Ahmad Brooks Loses Helmet, Sacks Colt McCoy

San Francisco 49ers outside linebacker Ahmad Brooks made a huge play to start the game for the 49ers defense as he sacked Colt McCoy and forced him to fumble on the second play of the game. Brooks brought down McCoy from behind, but what was most impressive was that he did this all without a helmet.

At the snap, Brooks battled the Browns right tackle and had his helmet forced off as the tackle got his hands up high. Brooks continued in on the play without a helmet and made the sack with the proverbial reckless abandon. McCoy fumbled the ball and nose tackle Isaac Sopoaga jumped on the ball for the 49ers.

The Browns have gotten off to slow starts the last few weeks and this will not help matters. The 49ers turned the fumble into seven points on a Frank Gore rushing touchdown. For more on the 49ers, check out Niners Nation.
