After Chad Henne’s Injury, Dolphins Work Out Pair Of Quarterbacks

The Miami Dolphins season could be going from bad to worse. Chad Henne suffered an injury to his non-throwing shoulder last Sunday and the Dolphins are concerned that it could threaten all or part of his season. They only have Matt Moore behind Henne so they'll need some reinforcements, quickly.

According to reports, the Dolphins worked out a pair of quarterbacks this week -- Brodie Croyle and Trent Edwards.

Croyle, the former Kansas City Chiefs quarterback, worked out for the Dolphins in the first week of the season but wasn't signed. He spent time with the Arizona Cardinals after the Chiefs didn't re-sign him, and also worked out for the Indianapolis Colts recently. He's 0-10 in his career as a starting quarterback with a lengthy injury history.

Edwards was released by the Buffalo Bills last September and claimed by the Jacksonville Jaguars, where he spent the 2010 season. He was signed by the Oakland Raiders when the lockout was lifted in late July before getting released on the final cut down day.

The Dolphins likely have to sign at least one quarterback so keep an eye out at SB Nation’s The Phinsider for updates.
