Eric Foster’s Injury Officially Lands Him On Injured Reserve

The Indianapolis Colts have been ravaged by injuries this season, most notably Peyton Manning, and they suffered another big one on Monday Night Football when DT Eric Foster went down with a leg injury in gruesome fashion.

Here’s the Eric Foster injury video but you may not be able to stomach seeing his leg twist like that.

As expected, Foster is done for the year. The Colts confirmed his move to injured reserve, along with OL Ben Ijalana, who was injured in Monday night's game. That means he's done for the season, which we likely knew right when we saw his injury.

SB Nation’s Stampede Blue sums up the feeling in Indy: “So, that’s now two defensive captains and two key reserves on IR. Once again, Peyton Manning might as well be on IR, and really should be there at this point.”

The Colts clearly took a step back when Manning went down but injuries like the ones to Foster and Ijalana are quickly making this a forgettable year.
