Charlie Peprah had to be inserted into the Green Bay Packers starting lineup a couple of weeks ago due to a season-ending injury to starting safety Nick Collins, much to the chagrin of the Green Bay faithful.
Packers Vs. Falcons: Charlie Peprah Picks A Matt Ryan Pass Off
The cornerback’s interception of Matt Ryan to end the Falcons’ fourth quarter drive probably elevated where Peprah stands in the hearts of Packers’ fans, however, as he gave the Packers offense another chance to eat up the clock and nurse their current eight point lead. It was Peprah’s second interception of the season and just the fourth of his six-year NFL career.
Peprah has played the majority of his career in Green Bay, though he wasn’t counted on for much aside from special teams during the early part of his career. After three years in Green Bay, Peprah left as a free agent to play a season for the Falcons, incidentally, before returning to the Packers last season.
