Raiders Vs. Chargers, Thursday Night Football: Michael Bush Dives For A Touchdown

After the Marcus McNeill injury, the San Diego Chargers wound up punting the football and giving it back to the Oakland Raiders. After a few short runs by running back Michael Bush, quarterback Carson Palmer tried the Chargers defense deep down the field. Parson connected with wide receiver Jacoby Ford, who made a twisting and spinning catch, injuring his ankle, for the 41-yard completion.

After Ford was carted to the locker room, newly signed wide receiver T.J. Houshmandzadeh made his first catch as a Raider. After that, the Raiders simply just pounded the football and abused the Chargers at the line of scrimmage. After picking up a hands to the face penalty, the Raiders got to the goal line. Michael Bush took the handoff from Palmer and leapt over the line, getting in for the touchdown as the Raiders take a 7-3 lead.
