After a failed challenge by the Oakland Raiders on a Carson Palmer fumble, the San Diego Chargers got the football back at mid-field. After a nice 13-yard run by running back Ryan Mathews, Philip Rivers took a shot in the endzone to rookie Vincent Brown again. The play was originally ruled a touchdown, as Brown once again went up for the football with a defender on him and made the catch. The problem was, after a review Vincent Brown actually didn't make a catch.

According to the official, the Raiders defender’s hand was touching the football while Brown was trying to possess the football. Since the Raiders defender was out of bounds while he was also touching the football, the pass was ruled incomplete and not a touchdown.
