NFL Scores Week 10, Lions Vs. Bears: Chicago Romps Against Upstart NFC North Rivals,

The Chicago Bears paid back the Detroit Lions for an early season loss with a blowout of their own. And things got feisty late.

The Detroit Lions were looking to take control of second place in the NFC North. Week 10 proved that the Chicago Bears aren't quite ready to give up contending for the division just yet. The Bears thumped Detroit, 37-13, in a game that wasn't as competitive as the score indicated.

The Bears rolled up 20-0 and 37-6 leads with consistent offense, defensive playmaking, and a Devin Hester cameo, and left the Lions so frustrated by the fourth quarter that the two teams scrapped on the field.

Matt Forte ran for 64 yards and a touchdown, and his TD was Chicago's only one on offense. No matter: Hester took a punt to the house to extend his NFL record, and Major Wright and Charles Tillman each returned a Matthew Stafford interception for six points. Stafford, who had 63 pass attempts on the day, threw four interceptions.

The most important fallout from the game may come in the form of suspensions and fines stemming from a second half fight that involved Stafford, Chicago's D.J. Moore, and the sort of bad blood that will have fans eagerly anticipating the next match-up in the budding rivalry. Alas, that won't be until the playoffs, at least.

The result moves both teams to 6-3 on the season.
