After being down 24-0 after the Green Bay Packers open second half drive, the Minnesota Vikings finally got on the scoreboard. Originally the Packers forced the Vikings on another three-and-out, but rookie Randall Cobb muffed the punt and the Vikings recovered the ball on the Packers 14-yard line, putting them right in scoring position. Two plays later, Adrian Peterson ran the ball in the endzone for the touchdown, cutting the Packers lead 24-7.
Packers Vs. Vikings Score Update: Adrian Peterson Gets Minnesota On The Board 24-7
This was the first Vikings score of the day and the first time they've even threatened to put points on the board since Ryan Longwell missed a 52-yard field goal. The Vikings offense is struggling to move the football against the pass rush of Clay Matthews and the Packers defense.
