QB Kevin Kolb is considered doubtful for the Arizona Cardinals in Week 11 when they take the field against the San Francisco 49ers, Jason La Canfora reports. Kolb has missed two consecutive games with a myriad of injuries including ligament damage, a bone bruise and turf toe.
Kevin Kolb Injury: Cardinals QB Could Miss Week 11, Too
Kolb's season has been far from a success and even before his injury we heard the locals calling for backup QB John Skelton. The Cardinals have won two straight with Skelton under center after losing six in a row with Kolb so another win from Skelton and we'll be hearing more talk of a quarterback controversy. (For what it's worth, head coach Ken Whisenhunt says there is no quarterback controversy right now.)
Kolb, on the season, has completed 56.8 percent of his passes for 1,706 yards, eight touchdowns and eight interceptions leading the Cardinals to a 1-6 record.
