Shonn Greene Injury: Jets Running Back Heads To Locker Room

New York Jets running back Shonn Greene went down after taking what looked like a shot to the head on a diving tackle early in Thursday night's matchup with the Denver Broncos. Greene was on the ground for a bit, but walked to the sideline on his own power before heading to the locker room. The Jets are already dealing with running back injuries and do not have LaDainian Tomlinson available for the game.

Joe McKnight will fill in for Greene while he is out. McKnight is primarily a kick returner for the Jets, rushing the football only 19 times on the season. Also available for the Jets will be rookie Bilal Powell. While McKnight is a quicker and faster back, Powell is more like Shonn Greene. Powell is more of a power back that can get the tough yards.
