Broncos Vs. Jets: Tim Tebow Engineers 95-Yard Game-Winning Drive

Until the final few minutes of Thursday night’s matchup between the Denver Broncos and New York Jets, there weren’t many good things to say about the play on the field. Both quarterbacks struggled, as expected, both offenses sputtered and the game itself was almost painful to watch. But then Tim Tebow happened.

It’s not as though his 20-yard run to cap a 95-yard drive somehow excuses his poor passing performance. It doesn’t. But for one drive, Tebow handled his business and took control. 17 plays, 95 yards, five minutes of game clock and one impressive run.

If you missed it, here’s the game-winning touchdown, which came, aptly, on a scramble.

Good luck figuring out the Broncos, their Tebow-centric, run-based offense or the method to the madness of it all.

There aren’t many words that describe the game, the Broncos drive and the Jets performance better than Rex Ryan’s reaction after seeing Tebow scamper 20 yards into the end zone. So just enjoy the gif of Ryan looking completely confused on the sideline, muttering to himself as he wonders what just happened.
