Panthers Vs. Lions: Matthew Stafford, Detroit Off To Sloppy Start

The Lions entered their Week 11 date with the Panthers as a touchdown favorite even after losing three of their last four games. But Detroit will have a tough time against Cam Newton and the Panthers if it continues to turn the football over.

Matt Stafford threw two interceptions in the first quarter and Detroit lost a fumble, leading to a 10-0 advantage for Carolina after the first 15 minutes.

Here’s video of Stafford’s second interception:

The Lions offense got back on the right track to start the second quarter when Stafford got his groove back and found Kevin Smith for a 28-yard touchdown pass. Of course, the Panthers returned the ensuing kickoff for a touchdown. Buckle down, Detroit.
