Once more, Andy Dalton found himself and the Cincinnati Bengals down late in a game and embarked on an improbable comeback. But this time, without A.J. Green, the Bengals fell short against the Ravens, who got a 31-24 win that brought them back to the top of the AFC North.
NFL Scores Week 11, Bengals Vs. Ravens: Baltimore Wins, 31-24, As Cincy Comeback Fails
The Ravens put the Bengals in a big hole in the fourth quarter. And without A.J. Green, Andy Dalton’s comeback bid failed.
Ray Rice ran for 105 yards and two touchdowns in the victory, while Joe Flacco threw for 270 yards and two touchdowns and Torrey Smith hauled in six passes for 165 yards and a score.
Dalton threw for 373 yards, a career high, but also threw three interceptions. Cedric Benson ran for 41 yards and two touchdowns for the Bengals, who scored the game's last 10 points but could not erase the 31-14 lead Baltimore took early in the fourth quarter.
The win makes Baltimore 7-3 on the season; the Ravens and Pittsburgh Steelers are tied for the AFC North lead. Cincinnati falls to 6-4 with the loss.
