NFL Odds And Lines Week 9: Buccaneers Vs. Saints

The New Orleans Saints suffered a stinker in last week’s loss to the St. Louis Rams, but are still the favorites again the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers and New Orleans Saints match-up this weekend in a game that is pretty difficult to predict considering the ups and downs both teams have seen this season. Despite that, however, the NFL odds still have the Saints favored by more than a touchdown at home.

It has to surprise some that the Saints are 7½ point favorites considering they picked up one of the worst losses of the season last week against the St. Louis Rams and lost 26-20 to the Bucs less than a month ago in their first meeting of the season. Tampa Bay is coming off of a bye, though, and Vegas apparently isn't sure what to make of them quite yet.

The over-under is set at a manageable 50 points, which seems considering Drew Brees is quarterbacking one of the teams and the Bucs should have all of their offensive weapons healthy -- including starter LeGarrette Blount -- but these teams only combined for 46 points in their first match-up.
