NFL Scores Week 14, Patriots Vs. Redskins: New England Wins Road Shootout, 34-27
Rex Grossman and the Redskins took advantage of the depleted New England defense, but Tom Brady did more against the Redskins’ D in a 34-27 victory.

Tom Brady threw for 357 yards and three touchdowns in the victory, and connected with both Rob Gronkowski and Wes Welker for touchdowns. The first touchdown to Gronkowski, who had two on the day as part of his six catches for 160 yards, gave him the record for receiving touchdowns in a single season by a tight end, and Welker's seven catches for 86 yards put him over 100 catches in a season for the fourth time in his career, tying him for the NFL record for most seasons with more than 100 catches.
Grossman threw for 252 yards in the loss. Roy Helu ran for 126 yards for the Redskins. Brandon Banks connected on a 49-yard touchdown pass to Santana Moss on a wide receiver reverse.
The victory was the first ever for the Patriots at Washington, and moved the Pats to 10-3 in 2011. Washington fell to 4-9 with the loss.
