The Tennessee Titans suddenly have a question about who to start at quarterback. Rookie Jake Locker took over for an injured Matt Hasselbeck in their Week 14 loss to the Saints. Hasselbeck's injury proved to be relatively minor, but it looks like Locker will get the start in Week 15 against the Colts, according to Terry McCormick of the National Football Post.
Jake Locker Likely To Start For Titans In Week 15
The Tennessee Titans have the makings of a quarterback controversy. Rookie Jake Locker is likely to start next week in place of Matt Hasselbeck, but the team says Hasselbeck will resume his role once his ankle is fully healed.

Matt Hasselbeck left the Titans’ Week 14 loss to the Saints in the second quarter with a calf injury. Titans head coach Mike Munchak described Hasselbeck’s injury as a “minor” sprain in his Monday press conference, but it may be a week before he can test it. The coach added that if Hasselbeck is healthy, then he would get the start.
Hasselbeck’s injury gives the Titans a good opening to play Locker against a weak opponent. The game plan against Indianapolis would lean heavily on running back Chris Johnson.
Locker’s athletic ability and cannon arm impressed observers in his relief appearances this season. He threw for 287 yards and one touchdown against the Saints this week. The first-round pick also added a rushing touchdown in what proved to be a narrow loss.
Munchak might have a tougher decision if Locker plays well against the Colts next week.
