SB Nation's weekly look at NFL coaches on the hot seat included Jim Caldwell, head coach of the 0-13 Indianapolis Colts. You don't need any inside information to know that a winless season could cost a coach his job but there are now reports that Caldwell is unlikely to survive in Indianapolis if the Colts don't win a game.
Jim Caldwell Expected To Be Fired If Colts Go Winless
The Colts are expected to part ways with head coach Jim Caldwell is the team doesn’t win a game this season.

Sources close to the situation have told NFL Network insider Jason La Canfora that, unequivocally, an 0-16 finish by the Colts will cost Caldwell his job.
This isn’t a big surprise. The Colts can’t go back to a coach that didn’t win a game, despite the circumstances.
That said, I do wonder if the Colts would keep him around even if he managed to win a game or two down the stretch. If he wins one game in the final three, should that really be enough to consider bringing him back? I don’t think that should be the case but we’ll find out by early January when the regular season ends.
